The Nutley, New Jersey law firm of Piro Zinna Cifelli Paris & Genitempo, LLC is pleased to announce that Alec Q. Duffy has joined its Litigation Section as an Associate. Alec joins the firm from the Palma Law Firm in Clifton, New Jersey.
Alec focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing municipalities and municipal departments in defense of various personal injury and employment-related claims, as well as in obtaining and pursuing recovery of monetary judgments. Alec also represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of contractual matters. Alec has a background in personal injury litigation, estate planning and administration, bankruptcy and residential real estate matters.
Prior to graduating from Delaware Law School in 2023, Alec held a Judicial Internship position with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas with the Honorable Holly J. Ford. Alec is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
While a student at Delaware Law School, Alec was Vice President of the American Constitutional Society, Treasurer of the Brehon Law Society, and a Member of the Transactional Law Honor Society. Alec held a Certified Legal Internship position with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Child Support Enforcement Unit.
Before attending law school, Alec graduated from Temple University in 2020 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Certificate in Music Technology.
