PARIS CO-AUTHORS PUBLICATION FOR NURSE PRACTITIONERS

David Paris, the firm’s senior litigator, co-authored an article “Terminating a Patient from Care”, published in a recent issue of the journal “The Nurse Practitioner”. Wendy L. Wright, MS, APRN, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, a noted nurse practitioner and educator of nurse practitioners around the Country, co-authored the article.

In the article, Wright and Paris, address practical and legal concerns that nurse practitioners must address when it becomes necessary to end a patient’s care, including reasons for terminating a patient’s care and the steps to be taken when terminating care to avoid abandoning a patient.

Paris has been certified by the Superior Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer and tries complex civil cases including medical malpractice, product liability and commercial and estate disputes.
