Christopher G. Rohde

Christopher G. Rohde, a partner at Piro, Zinna, Cifelli, Paris & Genitempo, specializes in Elder Law including Medicaid and Asset Protection Planning and assisting clients with the Medicaid application process and qualification for long term care. He also handles Guardianship matters for special needs individuals and the elderly as well as Estate Planning that includes the preparation of Wills, Trusts, Health Care Directives and Powers of Attorney. As a Certified Public Accountant and a specialist in Estate Administration, Rohde prepares Estate and Inheritance tax returns and handles general tax matters for individuals and businesses. He also advises clients on business planning, including the formation, purchase, sale and transfer of small businesses. Rohde is a member of the Tax Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, serves on the Elder Law Committee of the Passaic County Bar Association, and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was formerly a tax consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP in New York City. Earlier, he served a one-year judicial clerkship for the Assignment Judge in Passaic County. He was admitted as a member of the Bar in the State of New Jersey in 1996 and admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court in 1998. He graduated from Seton Hall University, W. Paul Stillman School of Business and Seton Hall School of Law and is currently completing a Masters in Taxation at Seton Hall University.
